Alex is in his thirties, a solitary man who has finally found love in the form of his beautiful and vivacious wife, Rachel. Incredibly dreary with self-absorbed characters who are not at all likeable. The narrator does a good job although when talking as Harry, possibly the dreariest character, his narration reflects the character. I dropped off while listening and couldn't really be bothered to find out what I had missed
