Eerily terrific

This dark tale is full of surprising twists and the well crafted sociopath finally gets his due & our main characters end well. Very satisfying read.

I really enjoyed this as one.

Good narration. This was my second Audible book. I really liked this one. Sandra Brown is one of my favorite authors and didn't disappoint.

Terrific Summer Read

What a great treat! Lust, great characters, and great plot kept me sitting in several parking lots, waiting till a breaking point to get out of the car. Kudos go to Sandra Brown, author, and Victor Sleszak, narrator!

Really good Writer

I have been listening to Nora Roberts books BUT Sandra Brown Is a Way Better Writer Her stories are addictive with just enough steam to make it difficult to stop listening.

Great book but a little overly vulgar

One of the best books I’ve read in a long time, but I felt it would have been just as good without the vulgar content. Sexual content is fine, but I felt parts of this story got to the point of being kind of disgusting. If you can get past that, it’s an excellent story and definitely worth the purchase.

I think the most memorable moment of this book is when she discovers the truth about her husband, it was such an exciting ride to go through the story!

Which character – as performed by Victor Slezak – was your favorite?

PME - by far was my favorite character. He did such a good job distinguishing his voice versus the other characters.

I loved, loved this book. The story was well thought out and it was beautifully written. The writing makes the story exquisite and the story makes the writing hauntingly precious
"Envy" has more twists than an Italian mountain track. Just when you think you have it all figured out...you don't.
It tells the story of an unknown writer writing about a writer and his best friend - a writer. And a pompous editor trying to get his hands on his wife's publishing company while cheating on her. Read it. Listen to it. You will not be disappointed

Best Babushka Book

One might think that the plot line of a book about a book is tired and overdone. Brown takes it a step further, writing a book about a writing a book about writing a book. She borrows heavily from the Count of Monte Cristo, yet somehow it feels new and fresh. It was a fun and fast read that keeps you hooked all the way to the end.
