Don't miss any of Jack Reacher's adventures.

The reacher series always provides an easy interesting read. not earth shatteringly great but always entertaining
I prefer single protaganist stories, with values similar to my own. Reacher is a man of few words and deep thoughts. This particular story features several plot twists I found unexpected, but they greatly improved the story
Mr Hill brings inflections and pacing that occasionally inspires an understanding of the characters I might have missed out on had I been reading this book
Reacher, the man you need on YOUR side
I can heartilly recomend this story (or any Reacher novel) to those bibliophiles looking for a good escape from the daily grind
Knowledge is knowing the way. Wisdom is looking for an alternative, more interesting road to get there. Audiobooks are that road.
I picked this book up at the Audible sale a few weeks ago. My first Lee Child book. Lots of action, great story. I was sort of picturing Clint Eastwood the whole time as the Reacher character. It was a fun listen and kept me going, however, I found Reacher a bit unrealistic. Somewhere between mortal and comic book super hero. I would also like to know a bit more about Reacher's background other than he was a military cop. I think that would add substance to the book. Enjoyable listen though.
OK to listen while driving, but annoying on another level (whining women and children characters)
Speed it up a bit. Slow moving. Omit some unnecessary narrative.
I like Dick Hill, but not his women voices. But I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Scott Brick.
The Rock should play Jack Reacher.
Perhaps multiple narrators when women's voices are required. Don't fire Dick Hill. He is still one of the best.
I'm not sure that I will continue with this series because this book spoiled it for me. Jack Reacher has no substance and is a know-it-all. Even if he was a military cop this is stretching it. In the other books he know enough to solve problems, stumbling a but, but is not a physic and mind reader.
It was a good story, it just took me until the second half of the book to get into it. But once there I enjoyed the rest of the book. So give it time, you'll get into the story
I liked the story of this book, though it was a bit slow to engage me in the beginning. Once the pieces start to fall together I had to find out what was going on! Reacher is such a hard, somewhat dry character, but I find myself loving him for his bad boy but moral style.
Say something about yourself!
This was a very suspenseful story. The plot hooked me from the beginning, which usually happens when I read a Lee Child story. The ending was a surprise, so much so I had to go back, later, a few chapters and reread them. It was quite unexpected. I thought the narrator did a great job, even with the 6 year old. Yes the whining got a little old, but that was built into the story. This narrator kept me involved.
Being from Texas, I enjoyed the places in West Texas that were involved. I could have done without the extended agenda on illegal aliens and the seeming portrayal of Texas as bigots, but be that as it may, I still thoroughly enjoyed this story. The ending was worth it all.
I am an electrical engineer and have served a stint in the Navy. I own a company that installs custom home theater systems and other home entertainment products. My favorite books tend to be action fiction or fantasy. I like some romance but not too mushy
I like to uncover the plot and figure out the story as it unfolds. In this book, there was 8 hours of listening when no one knew what was happening. Then, I think Lee Child got tired of the story and had Jack Reacher just explain to the bad guys how he knew what they had done, and of course, they confessed because of the brilliance of his reasoning. It's too bad that the story did not unfold in a way the we could have learned some of the detail as Jack figured them out instead of him just explaining it all. It was also a far-fetched unbelievable story.
Yes, but I may have to wait a while or look more closely at the reviews.
With this narrator, Jack Reacher sounds like a old man, the women sound like drag gueens and the children are laughable, they are so bad.
Not many. I was very disappointed at the ending. Jack just walked away without so much as a bye.
I want to feel good when I complete a story & am a little harsh on depressing ones. There are a few sad ones that I love but not many.
This is just a very good series. The characters are interesting and Child always comes up with different and interesting plots. I always look forward to the next in the series and have yet to find them repetitious or dull. I am really enjoying the series and will finish it for sure unless something drastic happens.
Entertaining but not one of my Reacher favorites. I had a hard time liking the main female character and could not believe Reacher was going for her manipulations. She truly was being abused but she was just a pain in the a** and hard to care about.
