Optional

Lucas has a woman problem. Great story, kept guessing to the end what would be next and was guilty.

Voices were all the same

The story was ok. I agree with other reviewers that there was a little too much going on. As a resident of the Minneapolis area, it annoyed me that they used fictitious tv stations. And the reader is terrible with voices. The women sound the same as the men and it gets confusing. I’ll still listen to the Prey series, but it will irritate me the whole time

Great Book

A true Davenport novel. Lots of twists and turns. Highly recommended to Davenport readers. One two three four all done.

I still enjoyed it

I really enjoyed this. The plot was a bit weak but I love the characters so much. Lucas is such a dog and his band of cops crack me up.

Richard Ferrone as usual did a bang up job narrating. At this point I'd be disappointed if I actually had to read one of these books.

I don’t understand the negative comments…

I found this book very entertaining and engaging and not too difficult to follow at all. I also loved Lucas’s dilemma with the women!

Let's play the whodunit multiplication murder game

This is NOT boring, confusing, disjointed or anything else the negative reviewers suggest. it's a real life police procedural tough investigation... it's really good...!!! is it hard to follow ?? you bet. imagine how Lucas and the crew were bolloxed up by all the twists and turns of Mr Sanford's storytelling. do you have to pay attention?? yes indeed. it's not a story you can just have going on in the background while you are vacuuming the living room or lifting weights, you need to be with it to follow it and Lucas with all his side tracking and wise cracking pseudo soul searching vignettes. it is definitely different, and Mr Sanford kept me wondering where this was all going throughout, as he led a cast of familiar friends to a fine finale and leaving Lucas perched to Fathom his next quandary. I'd say very well done. and don't forget it is Richard Perrone as Lucas Davenport. 👍👍

Better

Each book is better than the book before, it’s a great series. The characters develop, and you actually get to know them

I Like Sanford. Easy Prey Works

First off, don't start Lucas Davenport books with Easy Prey... Why? It's filled with spoilers regarding the ten books that came before. Books you'll enjoy reading when you get hooked by Sanford.

So....
"Easy Prey" => Good
Starting with "Easy Prey" => Bad, even though

"Easy Prey" => Good :-)

Oh, Richard Ferrone IS Lucas Davenport!
