    Any additional comments?

Short noirish novel about a movie stunt man who moonlights as a getaway driver for various heists. Well-written if occasionally confusing because the author has stripped the story so much to the bone that context is often missing from scenes. Still, enjoyed this one. Will probably read again.

    "excellent, but non-linear"

a very modern noir-ish tale about a stunt driver who also drives getaway. but be warned, you need to pay attention because it is told non-linearly and you can get lost easily if you're distracted, but it will be worth it if you stick it out. different, and for me much better than it's sequel.

    "Great Series"
What made the experience of listening to Drive the most enjoyable?

Sallis takes you into the world of man known only as Drive, A Hollywood stunt driver and a getaway driver. Now he must kill to survive. Drive moves through life blending into the environment, and neither the ones who want his life, nor the one who wants his heart know the real Driver. YET!

    Any additional comments?

Look for Driven the second book of the series, literature meets crime drama.I already read the book, now I can't wait to listen on audio.

Its a fascinating tale that would begin on may 5th, 1989 in Mease Dunedin hospital and from there the legacy grew. I am adult now.

    "lacked the drive"
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Honestly people who don't have a sense of direction.

Has Drive turned you off from other books in this genre?

The author failed to captured my attention.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Paul Michael Garcia?

    Robert De Niro

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Drive?

The parts where it would derail to explain the little details of the main characters childhood while it seemed he was in peril.

    Any additional comments?

I don't want to discourage reading this book. Its really hard to follow.

    "Ugh"

Painful to get through. The narration is brutal. Drive is such an excellent movie I hoped the subject matter would have been at least comparable. Skip this
