very good book!

This is one of my favorites in the series. Excellent characters as usual, and great story lines. The layers flow together very nicely!

Love the interwoven stories

Coulter is a master at weaving stories together.Always intriguing how the stories border on the paranormal yet remain realistic. My only disappointment is when the female narrator makes some female characters so unlike 80 year olds, i.e. Ruth and Catherine, when they’re less than half that in age.

Great Book

As always Catherine Coulter did a wonderful job with her writing. The book grabbed my attention from the start and held it all the way through. I feel like I know her characters... Dillon and Sherlock and the other FBI agents. Thouroughly enjoyed the book!

Unstoppable Fun.

Amazing whodunnit with overlapping stories. I was caught up in the action, suspense and adventure from start to finish.
It was also great to see how all the previous characters continue to grow and move on with the various challenges in their life and relationships.
Catherine Coulter has an amazingly creative mind.
Loved every minute of it! Never a dull moment, moving from one clue to another.

Having Phil Gigante as one of the narrators was pure super icing on the cake. The duo Sandra Burr and Phil Gigante did a superb job, of bring all the characters to life.

All the books can be read as standalone, no cliffhanger, but they are recurring characters throughout the series.

Excellent

This book is very entertaining with great characters and suspense! Two story lines are well woven together. It includes Savich and Sherlock, Dix and Ruth, and Cheney and Julia. The narration is excellent! Very enjoyable!

Narrator distracts

The bouncing of male to female narrator is so distracting. I have listened to all the previous books with Sandra Burr narrating. She is fantastic. I don’t think I can finish this book or the rest of the series now.
How disappointing!! Yes I am done!

Great, great, great series

This book like all the books in the series (except book 4) was great, it moves quickly and is very entertaining. I love the characters that Catherine Coulter creates, they are likable and fun. The stories don't go too deeply in depth of all the characters, but she gives you enough back story to get to know them. The stories are not too predictable at all, although she has a style of writing that she uses for most of these books (again except book 4), it works and makes for fun mystery stories with romance but not too heavy on the romance.

Performance Lacking

Have listened to other books written by Coulter and was very disappointed by the reading. It felt simply just read not performed. The man read too fast and really had no inflection that signaled danger or pauses to create tension or anticipation. He just plowed right through it. The female was a little better but it was definitely not as enjoyable to listen to as others that the reader/performers actually acted out the various parts and created excitement through pause or tempo.

Loved this story!! Sherlock and Savage do it again. Another great read, looking forward to the next one!!

Intense "reading"

Catherin Coulter is truly a magnficent writer to "read". The story line is great - the book keeps you in suspense right to the end.

When the book ends you want to almost carry on reading about them.

From an audible experience, this was wonderful, the characters are great, the voices fenominal - i'd really want to listen to them all again!

Thank you, this book has kept me listening to the disgust of my family whom I have ignored because I've had to "finish this book"
