Like It

I liked the story alot. The characters could haveused some work but wre still likable. All in all an enjoyable listen.

Keeps your interest

An enjoyable piece of history-based fiction that keeps you listening. The overall premise is a good one and there are a few surprises in store. Many of the more minor characters tend to be very one-dimensional and somewhat predictable. But overall it was a an enjoyable listen. The reader did a good job overall and a commendable job on most of the American accents, including that of the main character. If you want a book that has some suspense, some grounding in historical events, and a few twists and turns, you'll enjoy this.

found it confusing

Despite Simon Vance's superb narration, I found it confusing and stopped early on. It might have been a time when I needed something simpler and more straighttforward. The reviews on Amazon were good, so perhaps it was me!
