Good story telling

Good story. and story telling really gets you drawn into it. kept me guessing until almost the end.

A fun little mystery series!

I just love this series. It has everything I love: mystery, ghosties, sassy slueths and romance! I sure would love to join Abbie and Candace's PI team. They're a hoot! Harrison really spiced things up. For some reason I kept picturing him as Eric from True Blood. Meow! Now that Abbie is Austin bound, I HAVE to dive into the next book!

As for the narrator, she did a pretty good job. I like that she doesn't talk at rapid fire like some of the others. This book is easy to listen to when your driving, working out, or doing some other tedious multi-tasking chore. Good stuff!

This was a breezy easy read (listen) and the characters and story were entertaining.

Who was your favorite character and why?

It's easy to say Abbie since she is the "star" but I rather liked the PI character, Candace.

Which scene was your favorite?

I really enjoyed the climactic scene in the.....well, the climactic scene.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Politics from the other side.

Any additional comments?

I'm not really into psychics and hoggie boogy stuff but I enjoyed this mystery and the characters enough to try another book from the series.

Please get a new narrator

Would you consider the audio edition of Doom with a View to be better than the print version?

I would have to recommend the print version, the performance really makes it difficult to listen to. Abby sounds much older than she should. Eileen Stevens, Amanda Ronconi, Amy Rubinate, anyone please give Abby new life.

How could the performance have been better?

I really wish a different narrator could be found continuing the series in audio is difficult. I am sure Ms. Michaels could be fine in another book, but she is really not at all right for this one.

Great story

I love that these stories are clean and interesting. I don't have to worry about my kids over hearing bad words, and the stories are hard to put down. A+

Great Series!

I love the psychic eye series. I like listening to the stories a couple times each year! Great stories, funny and a little light romance. The main characters spunk is a favorite!

Best one yet!

This one had me inventing places to drive so I could continue listening. This was by far the best book in the series and I am looking forward to the next!

Abby keeps us engaged and pulls us along in her sometimes funny, sometimes bone chilling escapades.

Not bad.

Overall I liked it. Let's see what trouble Abby can get into in Texas.
