Twelve years ago, forensic anthropologist Jamie Cash survived a brutal kidnapping. After years of therapy, she has made a life for herself, though it is one that is haunted by memories of her terrifying past. She finally lets herself believe that she can have a close relationship with a man, when signs start appearing that point to one frightening fact: her attacker is back and ready to finish the job he started all those years ago. Can Jamie escape her attacker's grasp a second time? And will she ever be able to let down her guard enough to find true love?

Having a very hard time listening to Kate Zane's voice. May have to abandon the series as I see she also narrated the 3rd book.
This book caught me from the beginning and kept you guessing. I figured out the wool in the beginning, but was Still very surprised at the ending. Book three here I come!!
This was a great book! I've read/listened to it twice! Lynette Eason never disappoints! Asked a fantastic writer you won't be disappointed
if you can get past the whispering voice of the narrator you will enjoy listening to this riveting book. The hopeful message through horrible times is uplifting. Keeps you listening all the way to the end.
