Publisher's summary

Known by his alias, "Oliver Stone," John Carr is the most wanted man in America. With two pulls of the trigger, the men who destroyed Stone's life and kept him in the shadows were finally silenced.

But his freedom comes at a steep price: The assassinations he carried out prompt the highest levels of the U.S. government to unleash a massive manhunt. Behind the scenes, master spy Macklin Hayes is playing a very personal game of cat and mouse. He, more than anyone, wants Stone dead.

With their friend and unofficial leader in hiding, the members of the Camel Club risk everything to save him. Now, as the hunters close in, Stone's flight from the demons of his past will take him from the power corridors of Washington, D.C., to the small, isolated coal-mining town of Divine, Virginia-and into a world every bit as lethal as the one he left behind.

Enjoyable book

This book started out slowly. In fact, I almost stopped listening two hours into the book. But the pace picked up and at the end I could not put it down. I have enjoyed the previous Camel Club books more because they were more about the members and their idiosyncracies, but this book still was entertaining

Justice At Last

Oliver Stone, AKA John Carr, has finally vanquished the two men who ordered his death and killed his wife and eventually his daughter. Now fleeing the Capital to protect his friends while another enemy heads the manhunt meant to finally end his life. Another story of corruption at the highest level and right beating wrong. Excellent.

Show stopper - Divine Justice

From the first 5 minutes of listening you knew this was going to be a good book. The story took you to the next level with the club members. You saw new depth with each as they try to save their friend. I listened to the entire book in one 11 hour setting. This is truly worth a second or third playing.

Divine Justice

I have purchased and listened to each of the Oliver Stone series by Baldacci. This was the best yet. If you like mystery and espionage, I highly recommend it.

Enjoyed it as usual w/Camel Club

It was an excellent read. I have enjoyed all the Camel Club books. By the way aman of Stone's ability would know when dealing with a person with a bat you step into the attacker neutralizing the swing grabbing it and taking it away. Then using it properly jabbing it into the person in the face, torso or any number of vulnerable places. It always amazes me how people think a bat is a good weapon. If you don't know how to use it you are more likely end up having it used against you.

exciting listening

Another Baldacci winner. This is a very good story, exciting and suspenseful from start to finish, with a few twists and turns, and I enjoyed the narrator Ron McLarty who did a great job.

Thank You
