Former movie star Jenna Hughes left Hollywood for an isolated farm in Oregon to get away from fame. But someone has followed her-an obsessed fan whose letters are personal and deeply disturbing. While Jenna’s already shaken up by what she’s seen on paper, she’d be terrified if she knew what Sheriff Shane Carter is investigating. It’s a shocking case that started with the discovery of a dead woman in the woods. Now two more women are missing, one of whom bears a striking resemblance to Jenna. As a winter storm bears down on the Pacific Northwest, a merciless killer’s grisly work has only just begun. Jenna is getting closer to meeting her biggest fan-one who wants nothing more than to see her dead.

I think that Deep Freeze was a good book, one that i did not want to put down as far as the suspense, yet the demented mind of the killer for a romance book was a little much, I would not have put this book in the romance section i would have put this in the mystery & Thriller section, not much romance in this book although i did enjoy this book i found myself fast forwarding my ipod through the killers demented sections, If you are looking for a romance suspense you might want to look else where for the romance,

another Great Listen by Lisa Jackson...Only problem....She can't get them out fast enough for me....lol...I am totally a Lisa Jackson Fan!
This finally started to hold my attention after about the 7th hour, but at that point I think it was because I wanted to see if I guessed right at what was coming next. The storyline was completely preditcable and the charcters were flat and uninteresting. Save your credits & time. Don't bother with this one
All I can say is - with an ending like that - that there had better be a sequel
Slow book that should have been edited down...way too many unnecessary side stories, meaningless conversations and boring details. However, the main plot was enticing enough for me to keep listening as I really wanted to know who the psychopath was. The narration was decent and easy to follow. The epilogue was just a set-up for a sequel instead of really wrapping up this book.
it's all his moms fault. Always blame mommy for making the poor helpless boy a clever calculating vicious murderer. Men are so helpless they just can't help being who they are because they had a bad mommy.
I enjoyed the book, it was slow at the beginning but once it got to the good stuff I was hooked
