"Clancy's latest novel traces the financial, political, military, and personal machinations that drive America into the next major global war.... a shocker climax so plausible you'll wonder why it hasn't yet happened. (Entertainment Weekly)

“Breathtaking.” (Los Angeles Times)

“A brilliant describer of events.” (The Washington Post)

listen in my car to and from work for years.

Narrator was hard to listen to at first, he sounded like a computer. He seemed to improve as he went and both he and the story had me on the edge of my seat till the end.

Great book!

This was a great book. At first I was not too thrilled that John MacDonald was narrating this book, but as the story went on I thought he became more likeable.

Starts Slow

the book is really dry in the beginning but mid-way through it starts to get a lot more interesting

Engrossing story and the narrator isn't THAT bad

Would you listen to Debt of Honor again? Why?

Yes, because it is a story that refuses to let the listener go.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes

What about John MacDonald’s performance did you like?

His narration was stilted but the voices he assigned to each character were memorable, making it easy to know which character was speaking.

Classic Clancy

So many moving parts, but for Jack Ryan fans, this is one of the most memorable. This book was written years before we saw something similar play out in real life. You worried after this one and what else might come true after Clancy wrote it. Then we all wished there really was a Rainbow Six. Looking forward to hearing that one again.

I like the ending, just not the fact that it ended

The book is the literal embodiment of a large military aircraft. Takes a while to get airborne, exciting, fun and beautiful while in the air, and then when you land, you wiah there was more time in the air.

Terrible voice actor. Great story.

Title says it all. The voice actor is terrible. He attempts accents that come off either plain bad or borderline racist… that said, it’s a great book with a compelling story. All we need now is a Scott Brick rendition.

Not a great narrator

Good book to have on in the background while working. The performance wasn’t easy on the ears

One story you don’t get tired of

I have read the book. The narrator does a great job giving a wonderful flavor to the great writing of a great plot.
