Narrator better than advertised!
Excellent story as usual from Tom Clancy. I actually liked the narrator very much downloading despite the bad reviews. John Macdonald was an even reader without overacting the voices which I always appreciate.

Not Bad
A little slow to begin, but once we got almost half way into the story then it got pretty good. My overriding thought is that as time goes along these stories become overly long and complicated. Of course, that always true of almost every book. Still, a classic Jack Ryan story.

Story is good. Narrator greatly improves in time.
John's voice is a bit too deadpan and monotone to make listening enjoyable. He reads it with very little inflection. Sounds almost like a text to speech program more than a human being.

It may actually be better to have a computer voice read the text as opposed to this "human" on audible.
