Publisher's summary

Agatha Christie’s most exotic murder mystery, read by Hercule Poirot himself, David Suchet.

The tranquillity of a cruise along the Nile was shattered by the discovery that Linnet Ridgeway had been shot through the head. She was young, stylish and beautiful. A girl who had everything… until she lost her life.

Hercule Poirot recalled an earlier outburst by a fellow passenger: ‘I’d like to put my dear little pistol against her head and just press the trigger.’ Yet in this exotic setting nothing was ever quite what it seemed…

One of Christie's Best

Agatha Christie had ambitions to break free of genre and be considered a "proper" writer. Mostly she failed, but every now and again the Muse smiled, and one of her characters took life. Death on the Nile features the usual fiendish plotting, but also one of Christie's best characterisations. David Suchet's narration is first-class, of course.

Poirot read by Suchet - this could never go wrong!

David Suchet is practically synonymous with Agatha Christie's Poirot, so it's simply wonderful that this audiobook is read by Suchet. His characterisations are perfect, subtle and entertaining, which make these audiobooks great listening. Dive in and enjoy this tale of mystery and murder of the picturesque River Nile, you'll be spellbound.
