    Any additional comments?

did not give it 5 stars only because i reserve the fifth for an outstanding book but death of a dormouse was very enjoyable, the narrator did a great job and had a very pleasing tone to her voice. the metaphor of the dormouse was nicely woven into the plot. if you like this series you will most like this departure with a female protagonist.

    "Disappointing"

This falls far short of the books in Hill's Andy Daziel series, becoming less and less credible as it goes along.

    "Good story, entertaining"

I liked this story and in fact have enjoyed everything i've read by Hill. This isn't my favorite of his, but still definitely worth a listen. Good characters and story (tho the main character is a bit too naive sometimes). Narration was fine.

    "Excellent"

An unusual book in that it is a thriller with a woman as the main character. The storytelling is exceptional - exciting, sympathetic and at times comic. Definitely in my top three downloads.

    "Thoroughly enjoyable"

This book was a great surprise, I was totally hooked from the start. The reader, Di Langford, added so much to what was already a great story. I enjoyed the transition that takes place with the main character Trudi as she realises that she had previously existed in a vacuum and had, with the death of her husband, been brought into a world of suspense and intrigue. I feel lucky I found this one and am not sure what I audio I should choose next....this is a hard one to follow.

    "The unfolding of a life"

This is yet another spell-binding story from Reginald Hill, a master story teller who bit by bit gives us the pieces of the jigsaw of a life. As the story unfolds the pace accelerates to the eventual conclusion.

Fast-paced and amusing, as usual Hill raises topics that give food for thought. An excellent triller to take on holiday because it can be heard in chunks rather than snippets.
