Usually I would really enjoy this type of series, after finishing the first 5 books it's time for me to move on to something else. The storyline is really great, but somehow it just isn't working for me, it seems disconnected. The performance, by the narrator, was very good and I liked the characters with special powers, yet something is missing. I never really cared about them enough to read more than these 5 books. Let down at the end maybe, not sure. I want an ending the makes me want to dive into the next book and these didn't do that.
