Can't stop listening
As with every single book in the series I was unable to put it away. I quite literally finished this within 24 hours of starting it. I find these so well written and such a good story I am willing to sacrifice sleep to find what happens next. oh Fred so look forward to your next adventure.

Still Hooked
I should have known if there was any author that could keep me hooked on a series after 5 books it would be Drew Hayes. This book was amazing and crossing my fingers for a 6th book. The characters are vivid and exciting, and the narrator is one of my new favorites. You gotta love it when a narrator can go from character to character without announcing which character it is yet you still know exactly who is speaking.

Fun book
I enjoy this series as Fred is not your normal hero but a meek man who was turned into a vampire and is finding his way. Fortunately he has made powerful friends who are helping him along. Lots of fun action as all the characters of fantasy interact in a way only Drew Hayes can write! Narration is awesome!

Just as I thought...
That maybe Fred's adventures couldn't help but be getting a little shopworn, he springs up with renewed life. As do the characters around the unassuming (but now highly successful) paranormal accountant, with personae and relationships developing in depth and for me at least, interest.

Fred learns how to be a vampire, sort of
I have loved every second of this series. my library didnt have this one or the 8th installment to borrow. audible's book is a little quieter than with Libby, had to put my volume at max for my commute.

More we need more
up front I'll tell you I love this series
In this one Fred actually learns how to be a vampire instead of just being a human with digestive problems and a light allergy.
We also get to know more about vampires and the fae as the wedding gets closer.
