"This is something rare: the spy novel that prizes authenticity over fabrication, that is true to the character and spirit of intelligence work." (Mail on Sunday)
"Tense and terrifying . . . we couldn't put it down." (Cosmopolitan)
I am an eclectic reader, but generally prefer History and Suspense.
No always easy to follow at the beginning, but improve in the third part.
The same: deadline
"Knows her subject ..."
Credible and gives you an understanding in how the agencies of the UK and other countries actually work. Good story.
It was an interesting book filled with the sort of adventure expected from MI5, etc. However, thought it could have been a little longer with a few more twists and action.
