Publisher's summary

Meet Dexter Morgan, a polite wolf in sheep’s clothing. He’s handsome and charming, but something in his past has made him abide by a different set of rules. He’s a serial killer whose one golden rule makes him immensely likable: he only kills bad people. • The Killer Character That Inspired the Hit Showtime Series Dexter

And his job as a blood splatter expert for the Miami police department puts him in the perfect position to identify his victims. But when a series of brutal murders bearing a striking similarity to his own style start turning up, Dexter is caught between being flattered and being frightened–of himself or some other fiend.

Ah Dexter

Such a great story, well written, and amazingly performed. I love a book that can capture humor in just about anything.

Dearly Dexter

Watched the new season of dexter, they seem to have a hard time with ending. Didn't know what to expect with the book, but I can see why it got a show, the author did a great job. he also did a great job with narration .

Chapter 28 still has me fucked up. Highly recommend, but my god I’m still fucked up.

listen now, you won't regret it!

if you loved the show, you will love the book.

Dexter himself is slightly different. every time the actor sighed or puffed out his cheeks the audience would guess his thoughts. the written version of dexter has a much more fleshed out inner dialogue which is funnier and darker than the show.

I cant wait to start the next one :)

Good book

It definitely is different than the show, but good. I think the show did it justice and made it more suspenseful. I was hoping it would be narrated by MCH, but Jeff does sound a bit like him at times. The book makes Dex seem British.

Plot was good.

I didn’t like that Dexter didn’t have a clue about ANYTHING. This fact dragged on far too long.
