Big Fan

If you could sum up D.C. Dead in three words, what would they be?

I've either read or listened to all of Stuart Wood's Stone Barriington series and I find them always entertaining and exceptional.

What other book might you compare D.C. Dead to and why?

I would compare the quality and realiability of characters to the Sue Grafton's alphabet series.

Another wild trip for Stone and Dino

Another exciting book. Stone and Dino can always seem to get themselves into some kind of trouble.

Another entertaining read

I look forward to these for light entertaining but usually predictable reading. The narrator annoys me at times but he is as much a part of the book as the characters.

Another fun Stone Barrington novel!

Would you consider the audio edition of D.C. Dead to be better than the print version?

Yes, I enjoy the unique voices that Tony Roberts gives to each of the characters.

What other book might you compare D.C. Dead to and why?

This is a continuation of the Stone Barrington ongoing sagas, so I really can't compare it. I do love the way Stuart Woods adds the characters of his other series (Will Lee, Holly Barker) to this series.

What about Tony Roberts’s performance did you like?

His character voices!! Don't change that.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Stone Barrington always makes me laugh, especially how he always manages to get into bed with almost all women he meets!

Any additional comments?

I love Stuart Woods. He has the most wonderful characters. I hope he publishes more books in the Will Lee and Holly Barker series. I also hope Mr. Woods continues to include Teddy Fay in his stories.

Stone and Dino at it again.

Good story. Stuart Woods continues to write interesting storys for the dapper New York lawyer and his police lieutenant sidekick. This was a reuniting of our favorite Wood's characters. President Lee, his CIA Director wife, along with Holly Barker and Lance Cabot from the CIA, Good story, with Wood's witty writing style. A very enjoyable read, or listen. Can't wait for the next Stone Barrington novel.

Very good story and excellent narration. Story not as interesting as previous Stone Barrington novels, but still very good overall.
