Another entertaining read

I look forward to these for light entertaining but usually predictable reading. The narrator annoys me at times but he is as much a part of the book as the characters.

Predictably incredible!

Stone Barrington's character is predictably unpredictable. Intrigue as usual. Always a good choice.

Frequent Listener

Talk about a bummer, this one was not what I expected. Tony gets thumbs up from me, one of my favorite narrators. He seems to have these characters down pat. I think if I had to listen to this series with any other narrator it wouldn't be the same. As always, not great literature, but always entertaining.

Errors in history

In the previous Stone Barrington novel (Son of Stone) and this one there were noticeable historical errors. More in the previous book but notably in this one Mike Freeman of Strategic Services was suddenly referred to several times as Mike Newman. It’s almost done as if someone other than Stuart Woods wrote the previous book and this one.

To drawn out!

I have enjoyed Stone and Baccilli (that's not spelled correctly I know) however this suppence was too drawn out and in some cases made the two main gentlemen appear less than experts in their field to say the least. also I didn't like where two major events happening that didn't have anything to do with one another. These stories hardly ever disappoint so all in all I got my enjoyment but prefer if it could have been cut short.

Disappointed in Woods

Would you try another book from Stuart Woods and/or Tony Roberts?

Fun book to listen to, although have to admit that I guessed it way back. Still interesting, and stone is always fun, especially while driving long distances!
