"Dixie is a complex, well-conceived character and the plot fast-moving and believable." (Kirkus Reviews)
I would recommend this to a friend. It is a nice funny book with a great reader.
I wouldn't say on the edge of my seat, but it kept me interested.
Well, I liked them all but I guess I will go with the main character, Dixie.
I would have enjoyed that except for I mostly listen to books in my car and 8+ hours in my car at one time doesn't sound very fun.
I love these quirky stories. I had actually listened to this one on CD a long time ago but still enjoyed listening to it again. I will be looking for more of these. I love that she has normal household pets in her story but doesn't make them out to be super animals. They are just normal pets doing what normal pets do.
This is my first Blaize Clement book, and when it first started (the first murder was so bizarre), I thought, "Oh, no, I've done it again" (some of my choices lately have not been that great), but as I continued to listen I actually found myself enjoying it.
It's a light mystery with a surprising ending. Julie Gibson reads well and has a pleasant voice.
I appreciate Audible having these sales, as it gives us an opportunity to listen to different authors/books we may not have wanted to take a chance on otherwise, not wanting to waste a credit.
It was unexpected.
Surprising turns and reveals.
Nope, but I will listen to more now.
