Audible Editor Reviews

John Creasey is one of the 20th century’s most prolific British writers. He wrote countless mystery novels as well as diping into many other genres. This episode of his Baron series was, in fact, originally written under one of his many pen names; Anthony Morton. It involves a fairly classic mystery trope: a mysterious, priceless diamond whose owners all come to violent ends. Carl Prekoff has the perfect delivery style for this type of novel. He performs the narration with a well-paced, warm, British articulation but has a lot of fun with the varied characters' accents and attitudes coming from every strata of society.
