Patterson is back!

This book was great. It kept us enthralled to the end.

The narration was excellent. I loved the separation of the characters voices, they enhanced the story.

kyle is back yay.

I was so glad that he brought Kyle back for this book. this was a great story very interesting. I was a little disappointed in the ending it wasn't horrible but just a little disappointing. most definitely worth the read especially if you like when he writes about Alex family.

Good story

I felt like the narrator rushed the dialogue like he was reading aloud not performing (I know that may sound petty, but that was my reaction). The story was good. I really wanted more with the whole surprise Christine visit though. I expected something to happen later in the story that would help explain the relevance of that weird interaction. When it didn’t, I wondered why that scene even happened.

Don't Listen to Buyer Beware

I'm not sure what the problem was with the reviewer that said Buyer Beware. I listened to this book and loved the narrations. I've listened (verses read) the whole Alex Cross series and although the narrator changed, I thought the team was good and had a nice flow. Yes it was someone new to the part, but it didn't take long for the new voice to blend with the part of Alex. This was a really good book and brought some of the characters from previous books back to keep the reader actively involved in the story. I'm sure if you are a fan of the Alex Cross series you will be pleasantly entertained by this book regardless of the change in narration.

Good story, not as good narration

The story is good as always but the narrator doing Alex cross’ voice has no difference between characters and narration. He speaks too fast and doesn’t have a great delivery.

I thought it was great!

I had no problem with the narrator change. It was different at first, but I got right into the groove of the book and really enjoyed it. Maybe listen to the sample first to be sure, but I thought it was great.

Good book

I thought this was a good book. Very short though. I didn't like the new reader for Alex Cross as much as the old one but I enjoyed it a lot.

Alex is back

I really enjoyed the new book. I am glad Craig was such a big part of the book. It was tense that he was so close to Alex all of the time. I did not have an issue with the narrator, like some people. It took a couple of chapters to get used to him. I did have an issue with the ex showing up, out of the blue, and then gone again. Leave little Alex alone; poor kid.

Can't wait for the next one...will it involve Lidnsey in SF? That might be fun.
