Another 4 stars. This is a light and quick read. The characters lovable and realistic. If you are looking for a series with a likeable, honest, straightforward main character with friends & co-workers that are relatable and a peek into small town life with a who-done-it as the mechanism for spending time with them, this is for you.
It was a cute story but I rarely listen to a book a second time.
The hotel manager whose name I forgot. She was a whoot.
Melissa Hughes performance was excellent. Here reading was so much better than Susan Boyce whose reading is very robotic and grating.

Without sounding like a broken record, I will just say ditto the preceding books. I have purchased all the books available on audio, and am working my way through. I have enjoyed each and every one.
Love this series. Can't wait until there are more of this series on audible. It is fun and I like the plots and the mystery of whodunit.
I've read many of Monica Ferris' mysteries in paperback so I was happy to see there were a few I hadn't read on audible.com. If you like this kind of small town/close community whodunit, you'll love Ms. Ferris' characters, plot action, and clear, move-right-along writing style. I even took up crocheting because of this series of books - it inspired me to try needlework!
Narrator was not up to par. Struggled to finish but love the series so I endured it with much difficulty.
