I'm not going to return it I guess
There were significant inconsistencies in the characters making the story unbelievable in several sections. It removed me from the story several times. Overall, one character made me keep listening to make sure he ended up alright. The narrator made this story a difficult listen, may have been better if I read it myself. . .

Terrible narrator
Love the author’s books for the hidden reveals. This is my least favorite yet, but it’s also just terribly narrated. The protagonist’s fiancée’s Texan accent would have been better done by Kermit the frog. Or a rock. Really, anything. Terrible narrator.

Loved loved loved
Totally worth the credit!! This book was absolutely amazing!! Could not stop listening, listened to it in a day in a half. So many twists and turns and ending in unbelievable!! Cannot wait to listen to next book Freak!! Narrator did a good job, could have been a little better with different voices but all in all a good job.
