Keeps your interest
I enjoyed Jack Jr. getting back into the game with the team. As always, Jack Sr. is key to the back and front of the story which I love. I also enjoy being able to see Harrison Ford as Jack Ryan Sr. and Alex Baldwin as Jr, in this book. They play and fit the characters so well.
The plot was a bit hard for me to follow in re: to the financial end and the ins and outs of the Russian, Soviet and Ukranian social orders etc but I did learn a lot. Thank you!

Where does Command Authority rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Top-notch, Lou Diamond Phillips is EXCELLENT, ... I just finished listening and I want more.

Like the movie "Frequency" without the bloopers!
Loved the way the story was woven back & forth between Jack & Jack Jr! Filled in some blanks on Jack, gave us a very good introduction to Jack Jr, while keeping the intrigue & action very lively!

Good Storyline, lots of flash backs
What did you love best about Command Authority?
This is a great book, though its to short. Wish it would have been much longer since it was such a good story.
What about Lou Diamond Phillips’s performance did you like?
Phillip's is an excellent reader. Though he makes Mary Pat sound like she's a man from Brooklyn. Overall, I like he's version of the reading better than past Tom Clancy readers.

Prescient and fun listen
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Along with the rest of the Jack Ryan series, yes.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Not exactly, but it was good enough.
Any additional comments?
Tom Clancy almost nailed it with regards to Crimea. This is a fun book to listen to and is almost another version of what is going on In February of 2014. Amazing. Worth the read, and Lou Diamond Phillips does an excellent job in his performance as usual.

Command Authority was my favorite book so far in the later part of the Clancy saga. Action packed with a a clever and relevant story line.

Story could be from today's headlines
Loved the intrigue and action of the story. The plot was almost like reading today's news with what is happening in Ukraine and Russia. Too bad the fiction had to become really!
