A multiagency task force launches a massive search as Paige fights to survive in the wilderness. Time hammers against her, and soon the nation is gripped by the life-and-death drama. Secretly, behind the scenes, the FBI grows suspicious of Paige’s parents. Their recent history and disturbing evidence links them to a horrible secret from the past.

I loved this book I could not even put it down every chance I had I had it on listening thanks so much for having this in the library I highly recommend it to anybody that likes Mysteries and thrillers awesome till the end believe me no don't believe me see for yourself!!
This was a very thrilling novel. Any parent knows the fear of losing a child and the author did a very good job relaying the emotional roller coaster of emotions. The character development was very good and the narrator did an excellent job with the various character voices. It was non stop thrills!! I look forward to listening to more books from this author!!
I loved the nonstop action and excitement with many twists and turns. It got so I just wanted to sit and listen and do nothing. Finally I blue toothed my iPhone to my tap and tied my tap to my waist so every word was clear and nothing missed. Great for all ages and excitement without sex and constant swearing. Have bought 5 more of his books and am currently really enjoying "Vengeance Road" playing on my tap tied to my waist and managing to get things done around my home.
This audiobook kept me guessing and second-guessing the whole time. I appreciated the fact that this is part of a series but the author ensured that it would be a complete and independent experience if the reader chose not to read the other books in the series.
The narrator was very good as well.
I was enthralled with this book and it does have turns and twist I never saw coming.
A girl goes missing from her family's campsite. Her parents had been arguing and not watching her.
A man is on death row for the murder of another girl many years prior.
The story unfolds and we don't know who did what.
Well written and well narrated. I will look for more by this author and narrator.
Struggled to finish this dry stroy with terrible narration.
The publishers of readers digest story missed a real life drama...
This was on sale for a reason maybe.
