No let down from book one!

This book picks up the emotion and feel of the first Bone Secrets novel very well. The characters are different than the first book, from what I remember, but the style and type of story here was similar to the first book. This book has twists and turns and exciting reveals throughout that really kept me involved. I actually listened to this book in one day! That is how I know that I really liked it. The narrator did a fantastic job, and added to the experience. Great book! On to the next one in the series!

There were so many twists and turns that the story did not progress in the obvious suspense format.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Brynn Nealy. She was a strong, professional, vulnerable and feminine all in one package.

What about Emily Sutton-Smith’s performance did you like?

The voices for the men characters were believable.

I am once again impressed by Kendra Elliot’s originality. From the characters’ backgrounds to their professions, this series is a great example of romantic suspense for people who like a good storyline that includes smart women.

Finally got it working

I loved the other books I bought ebooks and Audible's from Kendra Elliot. And this Audible didn't disappoint. Great characters. Especially the sweet dog. Excellent plotline. Sometimes the plotline goes into unexpected territories. But it was a wonderful, but cold, trip.

Chilled A Bone Seceret Novel Book 2.

Formal United State Marshal Alex Kenton had been waiting for the time and opportunity to get back his revenge on the man that took his brother's life and his brother girlfriend. The same prison been transported from one State to another to the hearing of one of his victims. When the plain was in an accident. The Oregon SAR team was sent in to help with the rescue but they were not told about the inmate the serial killer. But on the other hand formal United State Marshal Alex Kenton came in to be apart of the rescuer team. As they set out they began to learn about the cruse on the plain and he has to come out and tell his fellow member about his life and how he got here.
They were able to get their job done also rescuer the two brothers for getting themselves into trouble. The serial killer took advantage of opportunity to kidnap the only female with them. On that Alex was able to catch up with them he did fought for Brynn and he also try to save his brothers killer. But in stand Darrin Besant tries to drag him into the river but Brynn came to his help between both of them were they were able to get away from the killer he was not so lucky.

Adventurous suspenseful romance

This story was a page turner. It had a lot of suspense and some romance with a flickering of heat - very small. It was a very enjoyable book.

pretty good read

a little predictable but follows the formula for these books and was enjoyable. I plan on reading the entire series.

series?

this is the second book in the Bone secrets series. But usually in a series there is at least one character that is in it through out the series. This second book didn't have one of the first books characters. It's ok, just seemed odd to me. I still enjoyed the book though and I am gonna move on to book 3 :)

Enjoyable

The second of the series that has skipped forward a couple of years finding Brynn on a search and rescue team in the snow covered mountains, unknown to them they are walking into a rescue of a notorious serial killer. On that mission is Alex, supposedly a US Marshall. He has his own agenda for being on the team, however his priorities change when he sees Brynn. Lies unfold as things progress and the situation worsens when sickness and injury plague the search. The book is pretty predictable but remained enjoyable.

Just Enough Twist

What made the experience of listening to Chilled the most enjoyable?

Kept me intrigued. Not too many plot twists ... Not corny & not foul ... A good mix of mystery, realism, romance and well read.
