Tom Clancy is an unstoppable force in fiction, nonfiction, and even on the silver screen. Now listeners can take a journey with America's most proficient covert team as they struggle to avoid full-fledged war in Clancy's latest edge-of-your-seat thriller. Tom Clancy's newest Op-Center is a gripping, powerful profile of America's defense, intelligence, and crisis management technology - from the master of the technological thriller. As with all of the titles in the series, elements of technology, diplomacy, military might, and espionage come together in an utterly believable - and sometimes prescient - manner that will leave listeners anxiously awaiting the next installment.
Prolong the suspense: listen to more titles in Tom Clancy's Op-Center series.

Unless the narrator told you which character was speaking you would not know. There are so many good narrators out there why would they pick this one? You could barely tell the female characters from the male. No emotion just reading like you would get with a computer except different voice. I will not buy another book with this narrator.
I work for the School for the Blind. Audio Books by Audible let then see with their ears.
Quit saying who "Said" after each statement
Good plot, but too much distraction with who said what
What I liked most was the additional levels of crises the team was forced to contend with in this offering
I would try another book by these authors, but not in this storyline. I think they may have exhausted all their ideas on this and didn't do enough research on some of the topics for my taste.
It helps me deal with my commutes.
No, not at all.
There really ought to have been more research done before Mr. Clancy's name was attached to this work. Four examples: (1) The Marines don't have medics... the Navy provides this skill set for us in Corpsmen. (2) The Marines don't have occupational designators that are alphanumeric. Ours are four digits. (3) The Marines don't have the AH-64 Apache Gunship, this is strictly an Army platform in the U.S. (4) The Apache Longbow does not have troop transport capability, it is an attack/escort gunship.
These are just the four most prevalent (and irritating) examples of poor research that detract from the story, in my humble opinion. I'll abstain from the next book, based on the reviews, I think I'll save my credits for another more promising work.
Mike Rodgers was way to self pitying. I would have had him take the sacking on the chin and moved on disappointed but accepting. He then would have helped uncover the conspiracy willingly once he found out what was going on.
Michael Kramer does a great job with the reading as he has done throughout the Op-Centre series.
Too much self-pitying crap from Mike Rodgers but still an enjoyable read.
