First-time mom Kate Connelly is bringing up baby - and bringing down a killer.
Kate Connelly may have found the perfect work-from-home Mommy job: private investigator. After all, the hours are flexible, she can bring the baby along on stake-outs, and if you’re going to be up all night anyway, you might as well solve some crimes. But when a body is pulled from San Francisco Bay that may be her brother-in-law, Kate must crack the case faster than you can say “diaper rash” in order to keep her family together.

This book was fun to listen to, especially if you have ever had a baby :-) A good mystery with characters that are totally relatable.
MOTHERHOOD, MYSTERY, WORK
Kate. She didn't mind working hard but just wanted to stay home with her baby.
No. Since she wrote the story she was the perfect person to narrate it.

I liked this book. It was funny and entertaining. The author was also the narrator. She put a lot into reading but didn't change voices much for the different characters. I had trouble, at first, keeping track of the characters, there seemed to be a lot. But I liked the story and it kept me guessing and amused
Fun listen, was crocheting and made the time fly, it was a fun little book that you could enjoy and not think to deeply about. Had a few laughable moments which I was looking for.
The storyline. The narrator was not one of the best I've heard.
It did keep me guessing most of the time
The main character
It did cause a chuckle here and there, as a verteran mother of 4
This book is mediocre at best. I barely got through this book. I had to skip to the end in order to finish the book. I can't recommend this book to anyone.
