Bounty hunter Dev Shannon doesn't go looking for trouble. It's usually there when he wakes up in the morning. This time Shannon has his work cut out for him.
The wife of an old friend is missing, and his buddy faces a murder rap. And Dev has paying clients: tracking a divorcee who's swiped her client's prize possession, a pint-sized lap - yap - dog, and the big payoff: some disgruntled yacht hands have hit the high seas with a multimillionaire's yacht. Dev and crew find themselves in deep caca in Trinidad!

This is the second book I have read in the series and I continue to enjoy the characters. The main character is a bounty hunter without the typical swagger. There are multiple story lines, but not too many to be confusing just enough to keep it interesting. I really enjoy the relationship between the main character and his father. They treat each other with love and respect; something usually missing in books dealing with adult children and parents. I look forward to the next book in the series.
