    "Worth listening to"
What did you like best about this story?

The story is well done and pulls you through the "reading". I've listened to later Cornwell books and didn't know the history of early interactions between Scarpetta and Benson.

What about Lorelei King???s performance did you like?

She needs to be reading all of the Cornwell books. Later narrators are not as good. However, her performance of Marino's voice got a bit grating towards the end.

"King slight improvement over Critt, but not much"
What made the experience of listening to Body of Evidence the most enjoyable?

Nothing. Narrator is like listening to seals being clubbed, but slower and with louder breathes.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Lorelei King?

Kate [forget last name] who narrates the later books. Wish they had used her from the beginning.

    "Better than book 1"

After having read book 1 in this series, I was very disappointed with the rushed ending. I hoped that book 2 didn't follow the same path. I was relieved to see it didn't. The plot, as in her first book is very well thought out. There is more depth to the characters this time around and everything comes together nicely for an ending which if a tad predictable is never the less well played out. There are some nice incidental characters who even though you know you will never hear from again, are still given good page time so that you really develop a likeness for them. All in all, the quality of this second instalment is far superior to the previous one, and I hope is an indication that things will only get better.

    "Quite Gripping"

I found this a great follow on from Patricia's first book 'Post-Mortem'. It kept me intrigued and it was hard to take my headphones off. These books keep you guessing and it's great to try to solve the murders from the clues given throughout the book. A great read.
