Savored the Suspense
Sidney Sheldon is one of my favorite authors. I didn't want this story to end. I savored the suspense until the last minute! The narration was great!

Bad enough the story was predictable, but the actor Who was “reading“ the story sounded forced and clipped. I was tempted to stop listening several times.

Awful, I want my credit back.
I've read this book more than once, alot of it was left out. Just pathetic. I thought audible was supposed to be the whole version of the story. Boy was I completely mistaken. Y'all need to be more careful when passing off crap like this, sad...

OVER ABRIDGED! Book lost great deal of impact
I read this book almost 40 years ago and I decided to read (listen) to it again. As I listened to the book it was suddenly finished. And I realized that something was wrong. I had bought the abridged version on audible. I got the book from the library and compared to the audible version. Dismal comparision. The abridged version is a dreadful version of a great early writing of Sidney Sheldon. I reread the book and it was just as good as it had been years earlier. This abridged version is pathetic. I don't know who is responsible for that, but I will be more careful.
