Publisher's summary

From number one New York Times best-selling author Brad Thor comes his most explosive thriller yet. Packed with action, intrigue, and sublime plotting, Black List is the ultimate tale of deception in a world where "even in death" secrets can no longer be kept.

Somewhere, deep inside the United States government, is a deadly list. Members of Congress never get to see it and only the president has the final say over it. Once your name is on the list, it doesn't come off - until you're dead.

Someone has just added counterterrorism operative Scot Harvath's name to the list.

Somehow, Harvath must evade the teams dispatched to kill him long enough to untangle who has framed him for treason and why they want him out of the way.

Somewhere, someone, somehow can put all the pieces together. The only question is: Will Harvath get to that person before the United States comes under the most withering domestic terrorist attack ever conceived?

Well done again

What I like about these series is the consistency they provide. An adventurer I can disappear into. The interview at the end said it best “if I’m going to spend time that I will never get back, at least I’m going to enjoy myself “. Thanks for the ride. Looking forward to the next read......LZ

He's one of my favorite readers. He lends good gravity to the story.

Can’t get enough of Scott

I absolutely love this series. Scott and the Troll (awesome character) are splendid. The only issue I have with this book is too much detail into the plot. Explaining over and over in long detail about ATS and how the secret was leaked. Each character was briefed on the same information. A chapter on the details is too long. A bit less repetition and more action would have been better. I still remain a fan and can’t stop binging.

Harvath books keep getting better

I was on the fence about how much I liked the Scot Harvath series when I started. I found him to arrogant and kind of annoying. But these last few books have made me a fan. Armand Schultz is good with the HUGE exception of how he portrays Nicholas aka "The Troll". He makes the character sound almost female. I cringe each time he does the voice. But other than that, this book gets an A+ from me
