Evolution is about to be kicked in the teeth by some very large feet.
It started with a few missing hikers, a not uncommon occurrence for the remote town of Bonanza Creek. Now it's about to get a lot worse. The legendary creatures known as Sasquatch are emerging from the woods, and they're hell-bent on slaughtering everything in their path. The only ones standing in their way are a group of wayward campers, a few scared survivors, and the crew of a cable TV show.
However, one of them has a secret and it might just be enough to turn the tide. It's tons of muscle and fury versus a whole lot of bullets in a battle to determine once and for all: who is the hunter and who is the hunted.

Narrator was so bad I stopped within a chapter or two. Picked up the book in print, and loved it. Not my normal kind of book, but the author is so good I had to give it a shot. Definitely glad I did.
I would definitely recommend this one. Its a classic set up for a nightmare, slasher type story. A group of young adults trekking off into the woods where you would expect them to meet with psychopath in the deep woods...and they do, just not The Crazy you may be expecting.
Danni, She is smart and strong.... making for a pretty good heroine.
His "psycho voice" is really creepy. I loved those parts.
The graphic kills could be intense.
If you have read any other Gualtieri novels then you are familure with the feet. Now forget everything he has told you before and get back to the idea of them being large animals on the evolutionary scale. Now imagine them pissed and wrecking hell on a remote town. The only ones to protect them are some college frat kids, an Indian and a team of cryptozoologists. Great book if your looking for something not of the normal yarn.
Not sure how to feel about this book. I have read the Time of Bill series and it is great. This one lacks the character development that Bill series has.
My 1st crush was Perry Mason & I wanted to be Agatha Christie! I truly love ALL genres though! Amanda Ronconi, Lorelei King, Scott Brick :)
This was so bland and juvenile that it was unbearable! It was not at all like Bill The Vampire.
That it was published ...
I can't even express how awful this was. It's not surprising Mr. Romanelli has only narrated one book.
Do not waste a credit ... You will regret it.
The story had just enough pulp horror movie in it to keep me listening. The narrator was alright, not the best but listenable. However, the over use of the word however made this almost downright ear bleeding. If I purchased this as a paperback I never would have made it past chapter 4. The writer can't go 2 paragraphs with out using it. In some cases he uses it 3 times or more in the same paragraph. Once yo u notice the over use it just takes you right out of the story. It might make a good drinking game but if you're doing shots you and your will have alcohol poisoning after a few minutes so just stick with beer.
Really well done. Fun and wild. I felt tense while listening and thats a good thing.
The TV show guys were entertaining.
No. There's better books to listen to. For light hearted reading, I'd recommend the Bill series.
He does good voices for sure.
