Publisher's Summary

Life hasn't been quite the same for computer engineer Island Chaptal since March, when an OCD-ridden professional killer burst into her life to clean her bedroom and take her on a global chase for a legendary diamond. Sadly, the (hit) man doesn't just break bones; he breaks hearts, too.

Since then, Island has found solace in Alex - the perfect boyfriend - and Ruby, a software project about to revolutionize online banking security...for the worse. When Island's boss is found dead after allegedly using Ruby to steal a vast fortune, it's up to her to clear his name and recover the money. Someone else wants answers, though, and this time, Island might be in over her head.

From New York to Zürich, it's going to take the return of a cleaning expert, a mini-octopus, and Island's wits to beat Ruby. All while deciding whether to trust a man who already jilted her, or one who may have his own deadly secrets...

    "Totally great series!"

Island and March on their second "mission" was as good as their first. The love March has for Island is beautiful and she loves him back. There is a 3rd book in this series that recently came out. I decided not to listen to it until the 4th one is coming out. Don't want to end the series so putting off the 3rd for a while will prolong it a bit. Don't hesitate - chose to be entertained by mystery, unrequited love, murder and a bit of James Bondism!

    "Love it twice!"

This is an enjoyable series. The fun continues. The best line for this book… Island is dressed up to get in a club. The bouncers are Germany. She says to them, I am very rich, barely dressed, and very low self-esteem, can I get in? Her Germany is not her strong language.

Island is always pulled into situations trying to illustrate the best in someone. This time her, new boyfriend, Alex and of course March are off to find Ruby. All the Island and March stuff you normally expect to find is here. I have already given you one of the best lines.
The comedy continues in the juvenile manner in which Alex and March fight for the attentions of Island and the gift of her virginity. Of course, no one can do it better than March. Island is still throwing herself in front of guns to keep someone from getting shot. She gets her attitude on and gives March and Alex a much-needed check with all the tongue wagging that a pissed off woman can give. March and his OCD issues still offer many of laughs. March has made an impressive gesture in his affections for Island. I just hope that it does not lower his body count.

"WARNING! ONLY LISTEN IF YOU LOVE TO LAUGH! "

Amy McFadden does it again! What a wonderful listening experience. March is back and Island is right back in the mix of her mother's old life! Even if you have already read this you need this audiobook! It really brings the story to life. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

    "My go-to escape!"

I LOVE this series! These books have all the elements found in my favorite books all rolled into one: romance, humor, mystery, unpredictability, action, sexual tension. . . maybe I'd like a bit more sex, but I'm freaky that way! I've listened to this book no less than three times. I put it on when I need a chuckle or am tortured with some mindless task like cleaning. This author has a fan for life!

And the narrator? She flawlessly brings the characters to life. Some narrators lose me when switching around to voices of the opposite sex or accents. Amy really pulls you into the story. I sure hope she continues her recording career as I'll be following her also!

    "Amazing!"

Great story, lyrical narrator, edgy suspense, intelligent writing, Laughing Out Loud (seriously)! Books and Audible don't get any better. I now have a new standard for 5 stars.

    "eating live animals? really?"

I liked the first book in the series despite the absurdity of the grown woman who can't lose her virginity. Still, the story itself was really good and kept me hooked.
This time around its the same old story in terms of virginity. I could live with it until the main characters started eating live animals. The author is very talented so not sure why she sunk to the shock value. It appears to have nothing to do with the plot, so I'm quitting here.
Amy McFadden is incredible - so good!
