Meet Athena Parks, thirty-something law professor who on a whim invites a guy she just met, Tristan West, home with her for the holidays. As crazy as it might seem she was willing to risk him being an ax murderer in order to have a buffer between her and her mom. They had that kind of relationship.
Things were going well and she couldn't deny there was chemistry between them. Maybe this was a sign she had finally found a good guy. Until her uncle Peter recognized Tristan...who wasn't Tristan at all.

I would like to hear a longer version of "Athena's Holiday", because this short story leaves one hanging....no conclusion. I've listen to other short stories, one I remember was a 45min. Agatha Christie, that even had her well known 'twist" at the end. I guess I was expecting Laina Turner to complete her story in 54min.
Sometimes I like to listen to a short book...but I prefer them to be complete. I guess I'll just have to use my imagination, since I couldn't find a continuation of the book. Ending so abruptly I thought it might have been written as a teaser.
Christine Fitzgerald reads well and has a pleasant voice.
I can't recommend it, because it's not complete.
