An ancient secret brotherhood. A devastating new weapon of destruction. An unthinkable target...

World-renowned Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon is summoned to a Swiss research facility to analyze a cryptic symbol seared into the chest of a murdered physicist. What he discovers is unimaginable: a deadly vendetta against the Catholic Church by a centuries-old underground organization - the Illuminati. Desperate to save the Vatican from a powerful time bomb, Langdon joins forces in Rome with the beautiful and mysterious scientist Vittoria Vetra. Together they embark on a frantic hunt through sealed crypts, dangerous catacombs, deserted cathedrals, and the most secretive vault on earth...the long-forgotten Illuminati lair.

Not better than DiVinci - just more obsurd

Think mission impossible here. Only science fiction fans will like this one. So many twists and turns it makes you dizzy.

Even better then The Da Vinci Code!!!

Dan Brown's Prequal to The Da Vinci Code is even more exciting and gripping then its famous follower. Angels and Demons is a smart and interesting book that will keep hooked until the very end. I can't find the words to explain how captivating this book was! I can't wait to see what Dan Brown comes up with next!!!

Good, but Da Vinci Code was better

I have become a fan of Dan Brown's since listening to the Da Vinci code. Thought Digital Fortress was interesting and tried this one out too. Perhaps most interesting is his knowledge of religion, history, and art/artistry. As far as plots go, it might be a little weak, or predictable, but the book is still good enough to entertain for other reasons.

Good listen

The enjoyed the story. I also enjoyed that it wasn't exact to the movie. The writing itself is simple but enjoyable. It is an easy listen and read.

Great by Da Vinci Code better

Although almost the exact same formula as Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons is still a great book and I did not feel like I was reading the same book twice. The only thing I did not like was the voice acting for the main character (Robert Langdon). The narrator's voice for him made him sound like he was always out of breath or perhaps constipated. Very annoying at first, but I eventually got over it.

Great betten than The Da Vinci Code

If you read/listen to the Da Vinci Code, then you must get this. Angels and Demons takes place about 1 year before The Da Vinci Code
This audio you can not stop listening to
