Great story
I like this narrator’s voice better for Harry, as I think a rough gravelly voice suits his character better than the Dick Hill voice. However I will agree that Dick Hill had a better voice for Edgar.

Wow - couldn't stop listening.
This is one of his best - but I say thst after I listen to each of his novels. Well worth the listen.

A solid whodunnit
Great story from start to end. Classic Bosch. This booked also played well in the TV series. Peter Giles is a great voice but didn’t quite fit as well as Dick Hill.

Funky narration.

Really captivating story
I’m always amazed that people like Michael Connelly have imaginations that can come up with stories like this one. Worth listening to even though the narration was tortured sounding with the Bosch character.
I have listened to another Bosch book by this narrator, and he improved a lot after this. I’m guessing in response to the feedback, so good for him. But I wouldn’t skip this book because of the narration, it’s possible to get used to it and the story is great.
