Dark & Disturbing but Good
This is much darker than my usual listens, but it's really good, too. Part of the suspense is that the reader realizes much earlier than the main characters, but we have to work alongside them while they figure it out. I know there is a broohaha about the relationship between the heroine and stepbrother,but they met when they were older kids, and bonded over a traumatic childhood. You can't make people feel like siblings, no matter how often you use the term, if they just don't. I didn't have a problem with it. This is an edge of the seat nail biter.

I got this on sale but would've paid full price!
This came up in the trio sale, but after listening to it I can't wait to listen to the other 2! I would've given a full credit for just one though! I definitely recommend!

Very absorbing
This third book is more graphic than the previous two. It was more emotionally charged with the horrific subject matter, but I was able to keep enough distance to enjoy the story. Only recommended if you can handle the subject matter.

3rd book
This is a great series. Although, this storyline was a lot harder to listen to, it was very well written. If you have a weak constitution you may not want to listen to this, but there is a definite relationship interest that is an important one that you'll need to know about for the next book.

all of Charlene Harrison novels I have read I Love
she is one of the most incredible writers I have ever read. I enjoyed reading each and every novel. I will mourn the day she stoppes writing
