Excellent story, but could use better audio production.

It’s not that big of a deal, but the audio constantly kept switching tones and volumes as if the editing department kept getting it all wrong. One hell of a story though. Brad Taylor needs to use Simon and Schuster audio.

book was great.

the story was great. I'm really enjoying the characters he is building. the two voices on the narration was a little different, but it didn't necessarily take away from the story.

Good story, narrators suck

The cheap narration audio takes away from the decent story. Character and story were good.

Even Better Than The First

The first book (One Rough Man) was a great start and introduction to the characters and the Task Force. This book is a great second in the series and shows more polish. Still lots of action and character insight (at least with Pike & Jennifer). I haven't figured out if I like the two narrator style yet. This is the first series I have run into it. and it may not have been as obvious if the recording/editing had been better. The recorded editing needs improvement - it was distracting at times - hence the 2 stars. I haven't run into many books that has as many recording/editing blips as this one. But don't let that prevent you from listening to this book.

Pike Logan Kicks Butt

What other book might you compare All Necessary Force to and why?

Any other Brad Taylor books featuring Pike Logan

What about Henry Strozier and Rich Orlow ’s performance did you like?

I'm still getting used to the two readers format. Having listened to many books done by a single reader it does take a little getting used to and there is a good and a bad to it. I think they did a great job.

Any additional comments?

Pike is back in action and using all the force necessary to get the job done. In short he's kicking ass and filling body bags. I like the fast paced action. What I don't like is all the talk about task force approval for this and omega authority for that. I get it that politicians wring their hands while terrorists take real actions, but the oversight council is even getting on my nerves.

I don't have a lot of love for Jennifer either. She is sort of Pike's sidekick and while she makes the story interesting, I really don't see anyone with her unease for killing being on the front lines of a terrorism task force.

The story is great and fast paced. I can't wait to read the next book.

Pike is great again!

Exciting to the end but would have liked to see Chase get his butt kicked by Jennifer. One can only pray America has a Taskforce!!

Enjoy Listening to Pike getting out of situations that only he can get out of.

Getting better, definitely worth the listen.

Any additional comments?

This series has all the hope of being the closest thing to a fix for Mitch Rapp junkies. I have listened to all of the Jack Reacher, Dewey Andreas, and Scot Harvath books, and this has the best hope for being a great new series that is updated regularly. The early recordings are pieced together and there are plot holes, but they get cleaned up as the series progresses. This is definitely worth your time, and know that they get cleaner by the time you hit book 3-4.
