Delightful

Agatha Raisin is hit or miss...This one HITS!
I've read books 1-13 and this was one of the best so far. (#1 was the very best, kept me laughing out loud!) This mystery wasn't as repetitive as some of the others, many of which seemed like a rehashed storyline with a new title. The Case of the Curious Curate had an original story and lots of brand new, very specific and entertaining characters.
Also loved Agatha showing some real self-esteem with John Armitage. SO refreshing compared to her interactions with James Lacy. All around, she was in true Agatha form in this novel and it was enjoyable to hear!

MC Beaton has done it again!
Loved it. One would never expect this visitor in her village and yet there he came. Anymore said would give up the story.

M C Beaton Never Disappoints!

I love Mrs. Raisin!
Reading Mrs. Raisin is always a charming tale teenage angst through adult life experiences. I love how MC Beaton leads us through Agatha’s own personal development and highlights her goodness through all her foibles, especially in this case. I found this book to be humorous, endearing and the mystery was well crafted.
