It should make one think
This has been a good audio book. It bounces around a little at first, but then it picks up and you can't stop listening. I don't usually listen to this type of book, but am trying to add different genres to my library. I'm happy I got this one when it was on sale. It has made my work week go by faster.

This Review Needs a Title...So...
CIA operative and former Navy SEAL Max Moore is fighting a battle on two fronts. He starts off fighting the Taleban in Pakistan; then transitions to the drug wars in Mexico. We had all the acronyms you can think of, sub plots that start and go no where, and other inconsistencies. Where's Jack Ryan? The funniest part was that the terrorists and drug lords used American idioms...research that and it would have been richer, Clancy. Would I read another Tom Clancy novel? Definitely!

Loved it.
Have been a Tom Clancy fan since I was in the Army years ago. Haven't read (or been read to) a Tom Clancy novel that I didn't like. Would like to see more of his books turned to movies.

Well Narrated, Story lacked a bit
The Narrator is the star of this. Not Clancy's best work by far, but still good. Just enough clues to make you realize what is going to happen without being upset. A little over descriptive at times which actually became distracting in the Audible format.

Well developed story mix
Enjoyed the story, there were two major story lines that seemed to be well woven together. The ending was bit of a surprise, but made sense and it felt more realistic. The Clancy attention to details and descriptions was maintained. The suspense carried thru to the end. Recommend this for the action and suspense.

Brilliant narration, average story!!!
