Publisher's summary

We predict amazing success for this brand-new mystery series starring Psychic Abby Cooper.

Abby Cooper is a P.I., psychic intuitive. But her insight failed her when she didn't foresee the death of one of her clients - or that the lead investigator for the case is the gorgeous blind date she just met. Now, with the police suspicious of her abilities and a killer on the loose, Abby's future looks more uncertain than ever.

good but hoping it will get great later in series.

this was an interesting book, could be a bit predictable at times, but a fun read overall, and i do want to continue with reading the series.

Best book ever!

This book is the start of an amazing series. In my opinion this is one of the best stories about psychic detectives and the way the Abby uses her gift is amazingly written. But not only that, but the voice actress Elizabeth Michaels makes the story even better in a great acting performance. If you have a great book and a great voice reading it, what else do you need?

I have listened to her books before. I’ve enjoyed each one. I will be listening to more.

Banned Narrator

I'm really enjoying this series. The premise is fun and the plots are interesting. However, I am putting the narrator on my "Banned" list. Her pronunciation is terrible. She butchers certain words repeatedly. Her voice is not unpleasant to listen to, but after about the 10th mispronunciation in the first 5 minutes it gets annoying. I will finish this series because I like the characters, but I won't be listening to another book with this narrator.

Really like this series!

I enjoyed Abby enough to go on and read the rest of the series, and I am glad I did - the books seem to get better and better! All of the books are a fun read!

Try Victoria Laurie's "Ghost Hunter" series as well!

Cute. Maybe too Cute?

The concept is refreshing and this book would have recieved a much higher rating except for two very irritating factors: the narrator's voice is much too old for the character and "liar, liar, pants on fire" was vastly over used. PULEESE!

Fun and Well Done

I normally struggle with paranormal cozy mysteries because I find them too cliche and cheesy. This book is not like though! I thought it was a lot of fun and written so well I found it believable. I liked our main character and was fascinated with her abilities. I liked the romance and mystery. I also usually listen to books 8 hours or less, but i'm glad I made the exception! It kept me engaged and was hard to stop. I already bought the next in series and can't wait to listen!

For those who care, I'd rate it PG-13. Fairly clean, no sex scene or frequent innuendos. There are a two F bombs, but otherwise no swearing.

Just buy it, it's great!

Cute cozy

A fun mystery that had a good story and believable characters. Abby is a no nonsense girl who has a gift that she yields with conscience and integrity. She tends to shy away from any interaction with police cases because of doubt and implication, however, on a blind date she is mistakenly sucked into a conversation about a current missing child case. A week after the date she finds out that her mystery man is a police detective and the game is on when one of her clients ends up dead.

This was a cute cozy that kept my interest and I was happy to get back to. The narration went perfect with her character and I will look for more in this series for a feel good fix.

Light & Frothy

This book has a youngish charm to it mixed with almost complete implausibility. Although it's supposed to be a crime drama it's violence is at a minimum and any darkness is quickly resolved with a humorous twist.

The narrator is somewhat heavy handed on the "smile in the voice" and "aren't I funny" passages. The over-acting got on my nerves periodically but did let up in the second half of the book.

I actually enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a break from heavy or gut wrenching stories/books.

I am putting this narrator in my do not listen list. I almost couldn't finish the book!
