Just an o.k. story

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I had read the negative reviews on here before this purchase, however, I enjoyed the ghoul series so much that I thought this might really appeal to me....not so much.
This book was simply annoyingly repetitive. I will stick with this author though and just focus on the ghoul series instead as that one is cute and funny!

What could Victoria Laurie have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Laurie could have come up with some new phrases besides...liar, liar pants on fire....

Good story, but annoying lead character

Protagonist is not very likeable. She consistently disregards everyone's good advice and says annoying catch phrases, like

No, because I have heard it. There are other Abby Cooper stories I haven't heard yet.

It did keep me listening and I got the next book in the series.

The sisters sounded similar.

I bought the next book in the series. I like the reading, so I got both. I listen in the car on short trips in town. I like a story with characters I would like to know. This is one.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Abby Cooper, Psychic Eye?

Haven't finished it yet. But i do find it very odd that she went out of town, knowing she should call Dutch and didn't call immediately when she got to Boston. And no one ever starts a trip without charging their cell phone, really!!.

What does Elizabeth Michaels bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I like the sound of her voice and her attitude. That can make or break a audio book for me, forget every thing else. Ms. Michaels is good.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I want to keep listening to it when I get out of the car and have to force my self to turn it off so the story will last longer.

Glad to hear that the series improves with time. I was so afraid the first might just be a fluke.

Ms Victoria's books are magic and her stories spin a wonderful spell on there reader.

Basic chick-lit

Book was ok, but I really didn't like the reader for this story. she had a pleasant voice but took odd stops/breather. had no Different creation and characters voices. And sounded like a kindly grandmother than a 30 something psychic.

it is just the wrong book for this reader. I think I would enjoy the books more if I read them myself.

Great story

A little slow to start. But it picks up and is well worth the wait. This is a great story and I can't wait to read the next one!

Characters are likable, and its a light easy listen. Highly recommend this entire series.
