Funniest so far

I'm addicted. Funny, clever, unpredictable story as always with this series. I can't wait to hear the next one

less than the TV version

I grew to like the Netflix series. I thought this narrator and the story itself was a bit too John Wayne. I love John Wayne, but I'll watch him when I'm in the mood. the Netflix version is more realistic n cerebral.
this was OK but a letdown.

Boy Howdy! One of the BEST Longmires!

What made the experience of listening to A Serpent's Tooth the most enjoyable?

The storyline and narration makes this impossible to stop! The whole crew of characters from Absaroka County are involved; there's a plot about religious cults, add in the CIA, and evil connivers.. but the humor and suspense keeps this unbelieveable. George Guidall IS Walt Longmire!

What other book might you compare A Serpent's Tooth to and why?

Of course it is similar to Johnson's other Longmire books, but...there is always a twist..and a lovely conclusion to a long, burning flame.

Which scene was your favorite?

The epilogue.. ties up loose ends.. and spins future possibilities.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely!

Any additional comments?

I pray that Craig Johnson continues to write more of these excellent mysteries.

Sharp as a serpent's tooth is a phrase used to

Sharp as a serpent's tooth is a phrase used to describe the pain caused to a parent by an ungrateful child. This is another well crafted book in the Walt Longmire series and is perfectly narrated by George Giudall. Walt unravels the mysteries surrounding three generations of a family, uncovers a spreading Religious Cult and takes on a large, well funded criminal organisation that will stop at nothing to succeed. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Pure Entertainment

Narrator George Guidall is The Best, as always. Thoroughly enjoyed this inventive story, the humor, the humanity, and the continued evolution of Longmire and his relationships. Can't wait for the next and the next and the next!

Love Me Some Longmire

Hearing George Guidall is like listening to a best friend. Another Longmire adventure that I hated to end. This book involves a cultish church, ties to a Mexican cartel, oil, and an introduction to an enemy that is pure evil. I haven't read one Longmire book that has disappointed me. Rich characters and enough geography/history to be enlightening but not enough to be tedious.

Encore

I'm listening to the Longmire series in order for the second time. I love the characters and the dialogue narrated by George Giudall. Since I listened to the books a while ago, I recall the details ofhe stories. I don't think they'll ever get old.
