Publisher's summary

Your best friend...

Lindsay Boxer is pregnant at last! But her work doesn't slow for a second. When millionaire Chaz Smith is mercilessly gunned down, she discovers that the murder weapon is linked to the deaths of four of San Francisco's most untouchable criminals. And it was taken from her own department's evidence locker. Anyone could be the killer - even her closest friends.

Or a vicious killer?

Lindsay is called next to the most bizarre crime scene she's ever seen: two bodiless heads elaborately displayed in the garden of a world-famous actor. Another head is unearthed in the garden, and Lindsay realizes that the ground could hide hundreds of victims.

You won't know until the 11th hour

A reporter launches a series of vicious articles about the cases and Lindsay's personal life is laid bare. But this time she has no one to turn to - especially not Joe. 11th Hour is the most shocking, most emotional, and most thrilling Women's Murder Club novel ever.

Another great book in the series

I have enjoyed all the books in the series so far. The 11th Hour further developed the characters, though I miss the 4 women sitting down and working through the clues. Yuki just isn't Jill. Some of the series (#3 and #4) had some twists and turns and this one, not as much. But, still a page turner or in this case, I couldn't stop listening.

Fun

Where does 11th Hour rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

When compared to audio books in the same class it ranks in the " Good listen for the car" category.

What did you like best about this story?

I enjoy the Women's Murder Club books for the sleuthing, they are fun and easy to listen to.

What about January LaVoy’s performance did you like?

She is a good narrator and makes it clear which character she is portraying with her voice.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I listened to it on a long car ride and didn't turn it off. It made the ride go faster.

Any additional comments?

I don't like the character Cindy in the Women's Murder Club series...this character is enough to make me not purchase another WMC book. However I HAVE already listened to all 11 ;)

Narration

I did not care for this narrator and prefer the voice of the 10 books previous to this. Thanks

One of the best in the series

Any additional comments?

Boxer and the gang strike again. This caper is chocked full of the usual fun. Looking forward to the next one in the series. Read most of this during my commute to work, had a very hard time putting it down.
