Not up to par

I thought the book was not up to par with the other James Pattersons murder club series 🤔 .The other 5 books I have listened to I couldn't put down
The story had a few great parts. but. I would skip this one. I am not giving up I love James Patterson. The Alex Cross series kept me wanting to listen to the book for hours. .Gonna try another club series book.

hard to believe 10 years

The characters are well established and like in all of our lives, stories happen, right or wrong. It does.
I love how characters are well established and storyline contents.

enjoyed visiting with the girls, but....

I enjoyed the visit with the girls and loved the peek into what is going on in their lives, but sadly it just seemed like a sample. I can't imagine a reader that is not already familiar with the Women's Murder Club getting into this story. Those of us that have been following along for years, will enjoy the update.

They're Back!

I really enjoyed this instalment of The Women's Murder Club. The storyline and character's were interesting. This is not brilliant writing but it is a nice light read and I look forward to te next one.

I did not really enjoy this book. it wasn't really bad, just not that entertaining.

What's with the background musak????

Would you try another book from James Patterson and Maxine Paetro and/or Carolyn McCormick?

Love, love, love James Patterson. This is my first time trying as an audible book and I'm pretty sure I'll never buy another. The background Musak is driving me crazy.

What other book might you compare 10th Anniversary to and why?

Much like the rest of the series.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Not a big fan of the voice inflections and have to wonder if the producer came to the same conclusion and decided the MUSAK had to be added to try and distract the listener from them.

Any additional comments?

I suffer from single sided deafness and the periodic music overlay just kills it for me. Having hearing only in one ear I have to rely on that one ear (which has some low decible hearing loss also) to listen to my books. I'm now using a hearing aid for the good ear which has a feature which enables me to receive audio signals from various devices directly in the aid. However there's no technology available that will counter the streaming of music and voice sound simultaneously without them both coming in at the same volume. Even the sample gave me no idea they'd be periodically streaming music on top of the dialogue. What a waist story seems pretty good so far just wish I'd purchase the Kindle version instead.

This series is so good. Each book makes you laugh, cry and gasp all while keeping you pinned to your seat! I love everything about the entire series!

The books from this series never let me down.
J. Patterson is one of my favorite authors and while there are some that I feel don’t live up to the Patterson standard this wasn’t a let down!!
