there were error in the audio book several

Great story. Narrator can be heard correcting errors
in the audio and chapters were out of order.

A few mistakes

A few edits were missed, especially in chapter 11. I feel like Mathew and Rex’s character profiles could have used a little more depth and lacked believability on being dangerous men. This was my least fav in the series so far

there was a little background noises or glitches otherwise a great Doreen story. Matthew even shows up

Skipping Chapters

The story was good enough but the chapters were completely out of order. Confused as to what was going on considering the others books were in correct order.

There were several slight clicks then a grammatically correct version of a previous phrase was inserted. As in the last book there were duplicate events in illogical sequence. what is happening?

Not Up To Previous Books In Series

I've listened to each of the books in this series from A through M and truly enjoyed all of them. This book, however, did not live up to the rest. Doreen's character was really irritating at times. She never appreciates Mack and all he does for her but in this book that comes through time and again. At this point in time I feel Doreen should also be less ignorant about cooking and be trying to cook and eat more. I also feel like she was being very gullible and taking unneeded chances with her ex husband. All around this book was just not written as well as the previous books. Hopefully the author will move Doreen's character forward more in the upcoming books.

Corrected Chapter Sequence

Bought the audiobook the first day it was released because I love the series but all the chapters were grossly out of sequence (reason for low rating by other reviewers). Returned the audiobook and notified Audible and the author's fan site of the problem. It took a couple months but the publisher sent a corrected version to Audible and everything seems to be in order. I have already listened to the eBook so I know the story and writing are good. Looking forward to hearing it performed by a professional narrator instead of a computer generated voice.

it kept me glued to the book. good story, lots of action, lots of fun.

great story, product needs work

Knew I loved the story after reading it the past. Took a while to get used to the new narrator's version of Mac. Then there were several production errors. A few chapters would replay instead advancing to the next. And Chapter 11 had a lot of bloopers that never got removed. (where the narrator stopped and reread the words correctly.) Noticed one later in the book but I didn't note the location. Overall it's a great story and I love the series.

Heart broken after 12 great books, the audible :(
